This front yard renovation addressed grading challenges with a new paver walkway supported by a small retaining wall, while new planting beds, shrubs, and sod brought colour, structure, and a clean finish to the space. The result is a more attractive and functional front yard.
The Auburn Bay project centred on transforming a front yard that had both practical and aesthetic shortcomings. Uneven grading made the existing walkway problematic, so a new paver walkway was installed and supported by a small retaining wall to properly manage the grade change while maintaining a clean, level approach to the home. With the structural work in place, attention turned to the softscape: new planting beds were shaped and filled with shrubs chosen to bring year-round structure and seasonal colour to the front of the property. Fresh sod was laid throughout to complete the picture, replacing worn turf with a uniform, healthy lawn. Together, the improvements elevated the home's curb appeal and made the front yard a more welcoming, finished space.
