This backyard renovation began with the demolition of an existing lower deck, making way for a new concrete patio and walkway, landscape lighting, and fresh sod. The upper deck was also reinforced and refinished with new composite decking, giving the entire outdoor space a cohesive, updated look with improved functionality.
The Valley Pointe project was a renovation that addressed both what needed to go and what needed to stay. The existing lower deck had run its course and was demolished to clear space for a more versatile concrete patio and walkway — durable, low-maintenance surfaces that better suited the homeowners' needs. Landscape lighting was woven throughout to extend the usability of the yard into the evening, adding ambiance and safety in equal measure. The upper deck, still structurally sound, was reinforced and finished with new composite decking, transforming it from tired to polished without the cost of a full rebuild. Sod was laid across the yard to complete the ground plane, pulling together a backyard that now feels considered and finished from every level.
